Job Summary

Apple Valley Foods Inc. is seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the smooth functioning of mechanical components of a high-speed food manufacturing facility by performing regular installations, maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assemble mechanical equipment
- Assemble stationary industrial machinery
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- Installing machinery and equipment
- Adhere to all Apple Valley Foods Inc. Health and Safety, Food Safety,



and fire prevention regulations and practices
- Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing environments, or as an industrial electrician or millwright
- Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions
- Excellent english foral and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed for plant operations

Pay: From $36.65 per hour Expected hours: 48.0 per week
