Maintain current security permissions as per Bank policies on user accounts and applications via Add, Delete and Changes of user memberships, group memberships and access levels on all supported environments. Provide professional and courteous support to the business community, answering questions, in order to meet the departmental objective for issue resolution. Assist in the investigation of applicable applications and account access issues.

The incumbent will also provide management with analysis of all presented issues and distribute all changes identified as workarounds or fixes within the group and other technical support groups. Collaborate effectively with team members and business partners to drive automation and continuous process improvement initiatives. Identify circumstances that may fall outside of procedural and policy guidelines and standards and communicate to management accordingly.

Actively pursue effective and productive operation of respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Good oral and written communication skills for the purpose of providing reports to management and effectively communicating with the user community.
