The Instrumentation and Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing instruments to ensure they function properly and comply with current standards. They also perform technical installations, such as ESD protection devices, and work closely with the engineering, production, and quality teams. This role requires the ability to accurately read technical drawings and diagrams to ensure effective work on critical equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance operations. Ensure the traceability of instruments and maintain accurate documentation of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to minimize production downtime and ensure the reliability of critical equipment.

Read and interpret drawings, technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications to diagnose malfunctions and ensure effective repairs to instrumentation systems. Assist with the installation, integration, and commissioning of new equipment.

Must be able to perform Level 7 tasks, as well as, under supervision as needed from engineering or a more experienced technician, perform the tasks listed below as assigned: Maintenance Perform straightforward to complex maintenance on test facilities. A DEC or equivalent in mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, or in a related field, depending on the assignment. ~Proficient in spoken and written French. Knowledge of English is an asset. (Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) .
