Role Description:

This full-time Internal Auditor role is an on-site position based at August Electronics Inc. in Calgary, AB.

The Internal

Auditor is responsible for planning and executing internal audit engagements across financial, operational, and compliance areas, focusing on risk management and internal controls. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing processes and documentation, performing detailed testing of transactions, preparing clear audit work papers, and drafting audit reports with findings and recommendations.



The role involves collaborating with finance and operational teams, following up on remediation plans, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

The Internal

Auditor also contributes to developing audit methodologies and assists in special projects or investigations as needed.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
- Candidates should possess experience preparing and reviewing audit reports and documentation.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in finance and an understanding of accounting principles and controls.
- Candidates should possess experience conducting financial audits and evaluating internal control effectiveness.
- Candidates should possess clear and skilled communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., CPA, CIA) are an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing or electronics environments and familiarity with ISO-certified quality systems are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
