Business Line: Commercial Claims Hours Per Week: 35 (Full-Time) Full-Time, Permanent Position, Current Vacancy In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We’re looking for an experienced Claims Liaison to develop and maintain relationships with our clients; The successful candidate will work within a small team of dedicated claims specialists, to support NFP’s Commercial Insurance professionals by providing guidance, advocacy and customer support, to improve customer experience and overall team success.

Provide

Claims management for Key clients by providing expert end to end claim advice across multiple coverage lines Serve as a resource to discuss claim strategy, analyze exposures, and provide perspective on complex claim situations, limitations and coinsurance, coverage denials, or disputed settlements, providing advocacy where necessary Develop strategies and protocols to improve the Claims handling process Establish business relationships with claims leaders at Canadian based insurers Typically, more than 10 years of industry and product line experience in a brokerage settingworking as a Senior Client Manager or dedicated claims specialist Experience with Commercial P&C; claims Cyber, Management Lines and E&O; claims settlement experience a plus High level of organizational skills with proven experience in managing multiple tasks and internal / external clients concurrently in a claims setting. Knowledge of the EPIC system is an asset Proficiency in coordinating and performing technical claims discussions with internal and external customers. Proficiency with all Microsoft Suite products including excel, outlook, word and power point.
