The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a Junior Service Advisor to serve as the first point of contact in the Service Department at our Subaru on Regent dealership. In this role, you will help ensure every service customer enjoys a positive and professional experience. You will take pride in providing exceptional service, maintaining strong organization, and making sure each interaction reflects our dedication to our customers.

Schedule: This is a full time, permanent position of 40 hours per week. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, either 8:00 a.m.

Service customers and ensure the customer’s needs are fully understood Promptly and professionally answer incoming calls to the Service department Accurately document all vehicle concerns onto Repair Orders and sell repairs and services to customers based on their needs Prepare accurate quotes for recommended services and obtain customer approvals for repairs Act as the liaison between the customer, the parts department,



and the Automotive Technicians Ensure customers are kept informed about the status of their vehicle, any additional recommended repairs that may be found, and wait times Manage customer complaints respectfully and promptly; Conduct vehicle inspection walk-arounds before and after service appointments Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information Other administrative duties as assigned Previous experience in the automotive industry as a Service Advisor is preferred, with experience with CDK/One-Eighty software considered an asset Previous, related experience in a customer-facing role would be considered an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Good data entry skills, with strong accuracy Ability to work in close proximity to a noisy automotive shop Ability to periodically work outdoors during the day to complete vehicle inspections, with exposure to various weather conditions including sun, rain, wind, snow, heat, and cold Competitive wages Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and insurance Flexible schedules Manufacturer led training opportunities Access to exclusive corporate discount programs This role requires successful candidates to complete a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
