Job Overview

- We are seeking dependable Kitchen Staff and Counter Help to support daily restaurant operations and provide friendly, effective service.

- This hands-on role includes preparing food, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, taking customer orders, and processing transactions.

- The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to food safety, and comfortable balancing kitchen and counter duties in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures.

- Take customer orders, answer questions, and provide courteous customer service.

- Operate a POS system;

experience with Micros POS is a plus.

- Handle payments accurately, including cashiering, cash handling, and making change.

- Use basic math and math skills to verify orders and process transactions.

- Assist with serving and order handoff, ensuring orders are accurate and presented promptly.

- Maintain clean workstations, equipment, and dining or service areas in accordance with sanitation and food safety standards.





- Follow proper food handling practices, including safe storage and preparation.

- Support inventory organization and restocking as needed.

- Use time management to prioritize tasks and keep service moving during busy periods.

- Recommend menu items and practice appropriate upselling while keeping customer needs in mind.

Experience

- Food service experience, restaurant experience, or food industry experience is preferred.

- Previous kitchen experience, including food preparation, is an asset.

- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, customer service, or serving is helpful.

- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.

- Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working as part of a team, and willing to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Pay: $17.60-$22.18 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
