Lead large loss commercial property claims at Aviva Canada in a hybrid Claims Examiner role focused on oversight, analysis, and settlement.

As part of Aviva Canada’s Complex Loss Team, you will review claim files and direct third party adjusters. You will manage investigations, quantify losses, analyze coverage, and support customer service. Set fieldwork expectations and timelines for independent adjusters

Manage claim files through investigation, adjustment, and completion

Prepare file strategies, coverage analyses, dispositions, and business cases

Review reports, policies, estimates, and technical information

Minimum 15 years of commercial property claims experience

Detailed property insurance and case law knowledge

Solid construction knowledge and digital literacy

Excellent communication, negotiation, and report writing skills
