Represent the company in Small Claims Court and Consumer Protection Ontario or other administrative bodies, where applicable. Draft legal documents including settlement agreements, demand letters, affidavits, and court forms.

Conduct legal research as required on issued including consumer protection legislation and warranty obligations. Assist in internal investigations related to customer disputes and incidents. Maintain accurate and organized legal files and case tracking systems.

Liaise with internal departments to gather facts and support legal strategies. Provide advice and guidance to legal clerks on claim management and resolutions. Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).

Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or consumer-focused legal setting. Strong understanding of Ontario’s consumer protection laws, and small claims procedures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.

Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.





Experience handling product-related claims, warranty disputes, or consumer complaints is preferred. Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as Consumer Protection Ontario is preferred. Knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks in a corporate setting is preferred.
