Résidence Unique Sherbrooke is looking for a licensed practical nurse (infirmier/infirmière auxiliaire) to complete its care team. Full time position.

As a licensed practical nurse, you will have the opportunity to:

- Build a relationship of trust with residents and their families, and inform them about the care required.
- Contribute to assessing each person's health status and to carrying out their intervention plan.
- Perform the various prescribed treatments and assist with hygiene and comfort care.
- Administer medication and treat wounds.
- Take vital signs and follow up on them.
- Write notes on residents' condition, the care provided and the medication administered.
- Pass on, receive and act on information related to residents.
- Determine, plan and prioritize interventions according to the situation,



the prescription and the established plans, in collaboration with other health professionals.

Requirements

Training

- DEP in Health, Assistance and Nursing (Santé, assistance et soins infirmiers).
- Membership in the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
