We are seeking a Machine Operator – Automated Sanding to join our manufacturing team in Abbotsford, BC.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our newest automated sanding technology, playing a key role in delivering the quality and consistency our customers expect.

The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical and technical aptitude with an exceptional eye for detail. While previous sanding or woodworking experience is an asset, we are equally interested in individuals who demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to troubleshoot computerized machinery, and a willingness to learn.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys working with advanced manufacturing equipment, takes ownership of machine performance, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Positions available on both Day Shift (5 AM - 1:30 PM) and Evening Shift (2 PM to 10:30 PM)

- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including the ability to understand, operate,



and troubleshoot automated equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly when working with digital controls, machine settings, and technical systems.
- A keen eye for quality and attention to detail, with the ability to recognize surface imperfections and inconsistencies.
- Previous experience in sanding, woodworking, cabinetry, or industrial manufacturing is an asset.
- Experience operating CNC, automated production equipment, or other computer-controlled machinery is highly valued.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, navigating digital interfaces, and adapting to new processes.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions when troubleshooting equipment or quality concerns.
- Team player willing to contribute anywhere in the sanding/finishing department
- Dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of performance and safety.
