The Maintenance

Technician performs preventive maintenance and supports the day-to-day operation of the Company’s equipment and machinery. This role maintains and repairs electrical, mechanical, and related systems to minimize production downtime and keep equipment operating safely and reliably.

Technician works as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.



They must follow all safety and food safety procedures and be comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment. Contribute to the resolution of system and equipment breakdowns and general maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting and equipment modification. ~ Completion of documentation related to preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, inventory and process/procedures ~ Perform maintenance and repair of production line and Packaging equipment ~ Utilize welding, fabrication, pneumatics and hydraulic skills for equipment repair ~ Adhering to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety etc) at all times. ~3+ years of experience in the food industry production lines, preferably cookie or biscuit production lines ~ Planning and Organizing Overtime as required Competitive Pay Depending on Experience Hourly wage up to CAD $40 Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits package Retirement savings plan (RRSP) with employer contribution/match Cérélia is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
