Lead financial reporting, FP&A;, and IFRS 17 initiatives as a Finance Director in Toronto’s hybrid finance workplace. Work three days weekly in the office. This contract Finance Director role supports a small, highly visible team working closely with the CFO.

Responsibilities span financial statements, regulatory reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and technical accounting. You will also contribute to finance transformation, ERP improvements, audits, and executive reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages Oversee OSFI and other regulatory reporting activities Support IFRS 17 implementation and process enhancements Deliver executive reporting, forecasts, and financial insights Requirements: Proven financial reporting and month-end close experience Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A; Hands-on IFRS 17 and technical accounting experience CPA designation and bachelor’s degree required Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Sun Accounting Bring financial reporting, IFRS 17, regulatory, and FP&A; expertise to this Toronto Finance Director contract.
