Red Ember Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Provincial Finance Manager on behalf of our client, based in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will oversee the full financial accounting function, ensure strong financial controls and procedures, manage budgets, and provide leadership to support staff. Managing and overseeing the full financial accounting function within the province.

Implementing, maintaining and monitoring effective accounting procedures and systems. Ensuring adherence to established standard operating procedures and financial controls. A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

Relevant staff management experience, including project-based management.





Experience working with Pastel Evolution or a similar accounting/financial system. Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for occasional business-related travel.

Financial management and accounting Process and understand complex and technical financial information. Knowledge of relevant local, provincial and national legislative frameworks and dynamics. Solid understanding of financial procedures, controls and governance.

Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and public holidays where necessary.
