Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves supervising staff, managing sales strategies, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store performance standards.

The Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, optimizing store operations, and fostering a positive team culture.

Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and professional development
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping such as bookkeeping and cash handling
- Coordinate purchasing activities and oversee pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high satisfaction levels
- Conduct marketing initiatives to promote store products and services effectively
- Organize staff schedules to optimize coverage during peak hours while managing time efficiently
- Supervise cashiering activities including phone etiquette, sales transactions, and administrative tasks
- Facilitate training & development programs for staff to enhance skills in sales management,



merchandising, and customer engagement
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and motivational messages to foster a collaborative environment
- Monitor store compliance with safety standards and company policies

Experience

- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or related fields with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong background in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store operations
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing potential staff members, and conducting training & development sessions
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and basic math skills for financial tasks
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) contexts; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Skilled in negotiation with vendors and customers; adept at marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in budgeting, payroll management, administrative tasks, and using organizational tools for time management

This position offers an prospect to lead a vibrant team within a thriving retail setting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the store’s success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional customer service. Pay: $55,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
