About the Role Focus Media is looking for a creative, hands-on, and results-oriented

Part-Time Marketing Specialist to support our growing business in Vancouver. This role will be responsible for strengthening our company branding, supporting Business Development and advertising sales activities, developing marketing content, and managing our social media presence. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of local marketing experience, solid content creation skills, and a good understanding of the Vancouver business and marketing environment.

You should be comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and turning ideas into practical marketing materials and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Branding & Marketing

- Support the development and execution of company’s brand strategy and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across marketing channels.
- Develop company presentations, promotional materials, sales collateral, and other branding assets.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and market visibility.

Sales Support

- Work closely with the BD and sales teams to develop marketing materials that support customer acquisition and advertising sales.
- Create sales presentations, proposals, promotional packages, campaign materials, and client-facing content.
- Support lead-generation campaigns and promotional activities for potential clients and business partners.
- Help communicate the value of company’s digital media and advertising solutions through effective marketing content.

Content & Video Marketing

- Plan and develop marketing content for different channels, including social media, website, presentations, and promotional campaigns.




- Create and coordinate short-form video content, promotional videos, reels, and other visual materials.
- Work with internal teams to identify content opportunities and turn business activities into engaging marketing stories.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are highly preferred.

Social Media Management

- Manage and maintain company’s social media accounts.
- Develop and execute a regular content calendar.
- Create engaging posts, videos, graphics, and other social media content.
- Monitor engagement and performance and make recommendations to improve reach and audience growth.
- Stay current with local marketing trends, social media trends, and content formats.

Qualifications

- 2–3 years of marketing experience in the local Canadian market, preferably in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland.
- Experience in B2B marketing, digital marketing, advertising, media, technology, or a related industry is an asset.
- Strong understanding of branding, content marketing, and social media marketing.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create professional presentations and marketing materials.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, or similar tools is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media analytics, and content performance metrics.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, growing company.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Understanding in Chinese is an asset.
