We are expanding our social work assessment services and seeking an experienced Master of Social Work (MSW) professional to join our multidisciplinary team.

The Opportunity

This position is ideal for a social worker who enjoys clinical investigation, functional assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will assess how injuries and psychological conditions affect individuals' daily functioning, independence, social relationships, and community participation.

Your findings will contribute to comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments and rehabilitation planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and functional assessments.
- Evaluate functioning across home, family, social, and community environments.
- Conduct structured collateral interviews with family members, caregivers, and other relevant individuals.
- Identify differences between self-reported limitations and independently corroborated functioning.
- Apply validated assessment instruments and evidence-based methodologies.
- Document functional limitations using measurable, clinically defensible findings.
- Distinguish reported symptoms from demonstrated functional impairment.
- Prepare clear, objective, evidence-supported clinical reports.
- Collaborate with Q Medical's network of over 100 clinicians.
- Contribute to complex rehabilitation and catastrophic impairment assessments.

Qualifications

Required:

- Master of Social Work (MSW).




- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation, disability assessment, mental health.
- Strong clinical interviewing and analytical skills.
- Excellent professional report-writing abilities.

Preferred:

- Experience conducting structured collateral interviews.
- Knowledge of standardized psychosocial and functional assessment tools.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
