Math Mastery School – Oakville, ON

Math Mastery School is looking for a passionate and engaging Math Instructor to join our growing academic team in Oakville.

This role is ideal for:

- University students or graduates in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Education, or related fields
- Teacher candidates and experienced tutors
- Individuals with strong mathematical thinking and excellent communication skills

About the Program Math Mastery School goes beyond traditional tutoring. Our students develop deep conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and mathematical confidence through advanced problem solving, analytical thinking, and enrichment beyond the standard Ontario curriculum.

Position Details

Schedule (required):

Monday & Wednesday, 4:00–6:00 PM

- 30 min paid preparation (arrive at 4:00 PM)
- 1.5 hrs instruction (4:30–6:00 PM)





Additional hours may be added as our student enrollment grows. Compensation: $35.00/hour

Work Location: In person — 407 Speers Road, Unit 211, Oakville, ON

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Grade 9 IB MYP Mathematics (Standard and Extended)
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently
- Reliable, professional, and organized
- Positive, engaging personality with a genuine enjoyment of working with students
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset but not required
