We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with both hand and power tools. This role is critical in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues, diesel engine issues, hydraulic issues and perform repairs on various types of Construction Equipment and Farm Equipment. Assemble and build new equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and welder to complete repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel and hydraulic repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
