Position Summary

Entry-level design and drafting position requiring foundational knowledge of technical design methods, drafting standards, and engineering procedures. The successful candidate will support the development of 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Plant 3D.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Generate and modify 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Produce, update, and revise detailed engineering drawings.
- Assist with plant layout, piping design, and related documentation.
- Perform drawing self-checks to ensure accuracy and quality.




- Conduct field verification and prepare as-built drawings and sketches.
- Maintain and organize project drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers and designers to meet project requirements.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Complete mandatory training and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.

Education and Qualifications

- Completion of or enrolment in a relevant design or drafting program at NAIT.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with Plant 3D.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and 3D modeling.
- Solid attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
