We are an independent Dermatology clinic in Kanata seeking to hire an assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Clean and sterilize equipment used for patient care, such as; procedure trays/instruments for sterilization
- Prepare trays for procedures.
- Assist with cosmetic procedures.
- Ensure consistent inventory levels by stocking exam rooms and other clinic areas daily.
- Maintain a clean & quiet environment by cleaning/sanitizing exam rooms
- Greet and check in patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner both in person and over the phone.

- Answering and managing phone calls, emails, scheduling appointments, providing information about the services we offer, maintaining accurate patient records, managing referrals and tracking systems.
- Verify patients under OHIP and update their info and distinguish private patients from insured ones.
- Complete patient billing, invoices, cash transactions, and end-of-day reconciliation.




- Ensure the front desk and waiting area are sanitized, clean and tidy at all times.
- Basic computer and fax skills.
- Scanning in patient charts, registration forms..etc.
- Provide assistance to other staff and/or partners on various projects as required
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Able to show care to our patients in a cheerful and positive attitude
- Juno EMR experience is preferred
- Ability to multitask, work independently and with teams in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a busy work environment.
- The ability to speak more than 1 language is preferred but not essential.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to be flexible with shift schedule and availability

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
