Position Description CGI is seeking an experienced Observability Platform Consultant to help improve the reliability, monitoring, and operational visibility of critical production services. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with platform and application development teams to implement observability solutions using Datadog, OpenTelemetry, AWS, Terraform, and Python. You will focus on identifying and resolving monitoring gaps, improving alerting and incident response, and developing reusable automation that enables teams to adopt consistent observability practices.

This opportunity is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys solving complex production challenges, building developer tools, and improving platform reliability through automation and AI-assisted development.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in one of CGI's Atlantic Canada offices,



including Halifax, NS; Moncton or Fredericton, NB; St. John's, NL; or Stratford, PEI. Candidates must be currently located in Atlantic Canada or willing to relocate. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite.
