Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Oil & Gas Field Supervisor - Facility Maintenance to oversee day-to-day field operations for facility/tank vessel cleaning and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

The Supervisor will provide leadership to field personnel, coordinate equipment and resources, monitor job performance, and serve as a key point of contact between field operations, management, customers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily oil and gas field operations and field personnel.
- Provide strong leadership with an emphasis on safety, productivity, and teamwork.
- Plan and coordinate field activities, manpower, equipment, materials.
- Conduct and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, JSA/JHA reviews, and site inspections.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable provincial/federal regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and operating costs.
- Identify and address operational issues, equipment problems, and potential hazards.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure equipment is properly operated, maintained, inspected, and ready for service.




- Complete and review daily field reports, timesheets, maintenance records, safety documentation, and other required paperwork.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to field employees.
- Maintain effective communication between field crews and management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and service quality.
- Be available to respond to operational issues and emergencies when required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas refining and facility operations focusing on facility/vessel cleaning, turnarounds, etc.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a field environment.
- Strong understanding of Refining and Maintenance operations, equipment, and safety practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand operating procedures, safety documentation, and technical information.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract.
- Ability to work extended hours, rotational schedules, weekends, and/or remote field locations as required.
