We are looking for one or two Optometrist(s) to work full days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and/or half day Saturdays. This position will cover a maternity leave starting November or December 2026 until the end of August 2027 with a possibility of an extension.

We are located within a well-established family owned Optical in Markham. Your schedule will be busy as you are covering the schedule for our main optometrist. We are equipped with an EMR, iCare, imaging, visual field and topographer. We do offer axial length and myopia management services including orthokeratology. Our staff are trained to support you.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to our patients
- Screen and manage ocular diseases
- Prescribe and educate our patients about their eye care needs




- Collaborate with other health care professionals
- Provide specialty services such as myopia control and orthokeratology

Anticipated start date: November or December 2026

Requirements

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Optometrists in Ontario

Pay: $400.00-$1,500.00 per day
