Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding patient care, utilizing osteopathic techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care practices, and the ability to work effectively in a medical office setting.

The Osteopath will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our patients through comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Utilize osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) techniques to address musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner.




- Educate patients on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in ongoing research to stay current with advancements in osteopathy and related fields.
- Ensure compliance with all medical office protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

- Valid provincial licensure to practice as an Osteopath.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and data collection methods.
- Experience in pediatrics or home care settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic or Cerner, is advantageous.
- Robust communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and research in the field of osteopathy.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $55.00 per hour
