Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Site: Shared Health -Selkirk Mental Health Centre Department / Unit: SH SMHC - Geriatric Area 8 MH Experience providing care to individuals in a mental health setting, or with physical and cognitive impairments is preferred Successful completion of recognized Health Care Aide course required Demonstrating effective command of the English language Knowledge of Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Principles of Routine Practices and other relevant Workplace Safety and Health requirements/responsibilities Knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions and values is preferred Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients Ability to perform independently and as a member of the healthcare team Involves physical activities such as standing, transferring,



and transporting patients/residents and equipment Requires shift work and will include evening, night or weekend shifts, or extended working hours as required We have a unique ability to work together to make health care better.
