We are a 3D animation team dedicated to creating high-quality, engaging, and educational content for children aged 3–8. Our current project combines storytelling with playful animation to captivate and educate the next generation. We are looking for talented 3D Animators to join our creative team and help bring our educational vision to life.

The role

Most of your work will start from motion-capture data. Your job is the final polish that brings a performance to life: hand-keying the facial animation and hands, refining lip-sync, and making the adjustments the mocap data can't capture on its own. This is a hands-on production role for animators who take pride in clean, expressive, on-model character performance. It's a fully remote job with a flexible schedule (coordinated with the production team's weekly check-ins)

Responsibilities

- Polish motion-capture performances in Autodesk Maya: facial animation, hands and fingers, lip-sync, and refinements and corrections to the captured performance
- Hand-key character animation where needed to complete or elevate a shot
- Complete assigned animations within the production schedule, meeting the project's quality and style standards
- Maintain animation quality, style, and continuity across shots, following production guidelines
- Communicate clearly with the lead about progress, issues,



and timelines
- Stay current with animation techniques, tools, and technology, and share what you learn with the team
- Contribute to a professional, team-oriented, and positive working environment

Qualifications and skills

- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the 3D animation industry (film, television, games, or series production)
- Strong expertise in Autodesk Maya
- Strong hand-keyed animation skills, including character performance and lip-sync
- Experience polishing or cleaning up motion-capture data is a strong asset
- Ability to convey creative and technical ideas clearly and positively
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote team
- Degree or diploma in animation, or equivalent professional experience, is an asset
- A reliable workstation capable of running Autodesk Maya, and a stable internet connection for remote collaboration and file delivery
- Must be a resident and eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
