About Us

Novasound Hearing and Balance Center is an independent audiology clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, offering comprehensive hearing and balance healthcare services, including hearing assessments, hearing aids, tinnitus management, vestibular assessments, auditory processing evaluations, and pediatric audiology.

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Part-Time Healthcare Outreach & Marketing Representative to help expand our relationships with local healthcare providers.

This position is ideal for someone with solid interpersonal skills who enjoys meeting people, building professional relationships, and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact and visit family physician offices, medical clinics, physiotherapy practices, and other healthcare providers throughout Halifax Regional Municipality.
- Introduce Novasound's services and provide educational and referral information to healthcare professionals.
- Arrange and coordinate Lunch & Learn educational presentations for physicians and clinic staff.
- Schedule meetings and presentations with healthcare providers in coordination with Novasound's clinical team.
- Organize presentation logistics, including lunch arrangements and distribution of educational materials.
- Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with clinic managers, physicians, and administrative staff.
- Follow up with healthcare offices to maintain communication and encourage appropriate patient referrals.
- Maintain a simple record of clinic visits, contacts, scheduled presentations, and outreach activities.
- Provide regular progress updates to Novasound's management.

Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Friendly, professional,



confident, and comfortable approaching healthcare offices.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, medical administration, or healthcare outreach is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Comfortable making phone calls, sending professional emails, and conducting in-person visits.
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence is required for travel between healthcare offices.
- Knowledge of audiology or healthcare services is an asset but not required. Training will be provided.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly compensation of $23–$25, depending on experience.
- Approximately 8 hours per week, with a flexible weekday schedule.
