Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. A current criminal record check including vulnerable sector check and child intervention check, dated within the past six (6) months, must be provided prior to an employment contract being issued.

The Northern Alberta Teacher

Award (NATA) encourages students in a teaching program to live and work as a teacher in northern Alberta, within the Northern Alberta School Division boundaries after completing their program. Teachers working with Aspen View Public Schools in the communities of Athabasca, Boyle, Grassland and Smith are eligible.
