About Us

Giresi’s Pizza Factory is a busy, family-owned pizzeria that has proudly served the Sarnia community since 1979.

We're looking for reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team.

Our restaurant is a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace where everyone plays an important role in delivering quality food and excellent customer service.

This is a versatile, hands-on position. Team members will be trained in multiple areas of our operation and are expected to assist wherever needed throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities

Pizza Preparation & Assembly

- Roll and stretch pizza dough to the appropriate size and thickness.
- Apply pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese according to established portion standards.
- Prepare and apply pizza toppings accurately and consistently.
- Follow order tickets and accommodate special customer requests.
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during busy periods.

Oven Operations & Pizza Finishing

- Monitor pizzas to ensure proper cooking and quality.
- Cut, box, and prepare finished pizzas for customer pickup or delivery.
- Verify orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow.

Customer Service & Order Taking

- Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately enter customer orders into our computerized point-of-sale system.
- Answer questions about menu items, pricing, and specials.
- Confirm order details, special requests, and estimated pickup or delivery times.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to our customers.

General Kitchen Duties

- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations.
- Assist with food preparation and replenishing ingredients.




- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to keep operations running efficiently.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive food preparation tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and ingredients within safe working limits.
