The Constable is responsible for being the customer contact for all policing and security needs. The position requires to respond to emergency calls while sometimes working irregular schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays to protect a 24/7 operation.

Develop working partnerships with municipal, provincial, and federal officials, major industries and local businesses that affect CN. Identify high-risk locations and develop subsequent action plans to secure and prevent losses. Perform the investigation and prosecution of all criminal incidents and participate actively in the enforcement and promotion of federal and provincial laws dealing with railway safety.

Participate in regular public speaking. Frequent travel over a large geographical area Available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when necessary.



Accredited law enforcement program or equivalent Technical Skills/Knowledge Demonstrates good teamwork and maintain positive interactions with other departments and local law enforcement agencies cooperating in matters of mutual concern Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French) * *Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset The incumbent receives an on-the-job training with a Coach Officer.

Successful candidates that do not hold a certificate from an accredited police college will be required to successfully complete the 3-month training program at the Ontario Police College.
