Shape Masabi’s platform and data architecture remotely from Canada’s East Coast timezone, using AWS and distributed systems expertise. As a Principal Engineer on Masabi’s Architecture team, you will guide technical direction across engineering. You will design scalable services, strengthen data strategy, and contribute hands-on through code, reviews, and delivery. The work supports Masabi’s Justride platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Define platform blueprints, standards, and architectural best practices
- Shape data architecture, storage, and platform data usage
- Design scalable, robust, cost-efficient services
- Guide complex decisions across engineering teams
- Document architecture and support technical roadmap planning Requirements:
- Principal or Staff-level experience across multiple teams
- Distributed systems and microservices architecture experience
- Strong AWS and up-to-date infrastructure practices experience
- Proven data architecture experience with large data stores
