As a Product Manager, you will independently lead features and projects of moderate complexity that improve experiences for readers, journalists, and advertisers while driving business outcomes.

As a Product Manager, you will own initiatives from discovery to delivery, using data and user insights to guide decisions. Use data to inform decisions, track performance, and optimize conversion funnels and core user journeys.

Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring features are delivered with minimal oversight.

Apply AI tools independently to improve speed and quality of routine tasks, sharing prompts and workflows with peers.

Proven ability to independently manage features, projects, and quarterly priorities.

Strong analytical skills with experience using data to optimize user flows, funnels, and core product experiences.

Delivery of features and quarterly priorities that measurably improve user engagement and business performance.

High-quality execution with minimal oversight and strong cross-functional alignment.

Demonstrated use of data and research to shape product decisions.

Effective application of AI tools that improve speed, quality, and team efficiency.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $100,000 - $125,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account the cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting,



this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
