Join our vibrant pet care team as a Professional Dog Groomer Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive grooming experience for our furry clients and their owners.

In this role, you will support professional groomers by preparing dogs for grooming sessions, assisting with bathing and drying, completing nail trims, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our grooming services, making tails wag and smiles grow! This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in pet care while working in a lively, pet-loving atmosphere.

Duties

- Assist groomers by handling dogs gently and securely during grooming procedures
- Prepare dogs for grooming by bathing, drying and brushing to ensure they are clean and comfortable
- Help with heavy lifting tasks such as moving large or energetic dogs safely within the grooming area
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently and calmly




- Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and staff at all times

Skills

- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling larger dogs or equipment
