Job Summary

Talbot House is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Program Facilitator to join our team and support individuals working toward recovery from addiction.

The successful candidate will help provide a structured, supportive environment that encourages accountability, personal growth, abstinence, and long-term recovery.

Responsibilities

- Facilitate recovery groups and structured programming for residents at different stages of recovery.
- Support residents with addiction recovery, emotional regulation, grief, conflict resolution, honesty, accountability, and personal well-being.
- Assist with resident intakes, admissions, and orientation to the program.
- Monitor resident well-being and help maintain a safe, respectful, and structured living environment.
- Complete resident documentation, progress notes, attendance records, and incident reports.
- Follow Talbot House policies, procedures, house rules, and daily schedules.
- Assist with daily facility operations and resident responsibilities.
- Report resident concerns, incidents, and operational issues to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain professional boundaries and resident confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications · Diploma or degree in Social Work, Registered Clinical Therapist, Addictions and Mental Health, Human Services, Community Services, Psychology,



or a related field.

· Relevant education or training in addiction recovery, substance use, mental health, and recovery support.

· Previous experience working with individuals experiencing addiction, mental health challenges, or other life difficulties is considered an asset.

· Current First Aid and CPR certification.

· General knowledge of medications and safe medication procedures.

· Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and a respectful, structured environment.

· Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

· A genuine commitment to supporting individuals in recovery.
