The Project

Engineer plays a crucial role within Hydro Ottawa, managing significant projects that align with our corporate goals. You will lead project management efforts on substations and grid modernization, utilizing both agile and risk-based methodologies. Engage with various stakeholders while providing essential technical and commercial input to achieve project success. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the development of major capital projects
- Manage project lifecycle stages from scoping to closeout
- Develop financial estimates and project scoping




- Coordinate communication with external third parties
- Facilitate procurement and manage consultants towards deliverables Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Skilled Engineer designation in Ontario
- Experience in utility environments or project management
- Proficiency in office productivity tools, especially Google Workspace
