Responsibilities - Manage and direct engineering and design teams through studies, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning support.

- Coordinate technical execution with project management and serve as a client contact for project engineering issues.
- Monitor engineering budgets, progress and schedules, and manage engineering-related change processes.
- Coordinate engineering inputs to procurement and construction, including scopes, bid evaluations, vendor data reviews and responses to RFIs.
- Review design deliverables for safety, constructability,



quality and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications - Degree or diploma in a mining-related technical field.

- At least five years of engineering, design and construction experience in heavy industry, particularly surface or underground mining.
- Previous Project Engineer experience on studies, detailed engineering or construction projects.
- A valid driver’s licence is required; willingness to travel to client sites or other Stantec offices is an asset.
