Care at Home Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team to work in a long term care home. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to residents in a long term care home. You will work closely with long term care residents to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions. Duties

- Conduct thorough assessments of referred residents
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapeutic interventions
- Monitor redsidents progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate residents and their families on proper techniques for self-care and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records

Requirements





- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid CHCPCBC registry number

-experience working in a LTC facility setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Robust problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
