We are seeking a dedicated Public Area & Laundry Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel facilities. This role involves ensuring guest areas, hallways, and laundry services are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work, hospitality, or industrial cleaning, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces to ensure they are tidy, sanitized, and inviting
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items
- Restock supplies in public areas and laundry stations as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor cleanliness throughout shifts and promptly address any spills or maintenance issues
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe workplace for guests and staff
- Disposal of garbage collected from the floors
- Assist with other custodial tasks as assigned by management to support overall hotel operations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment (industrial cleaning experience is a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
