One of The Sage Group’s top clients is looking for a Public Relations Manager , from the tech industry. The client provides autonomous automotive technology, which combines specialized hardware and deep-learning AI.

You will:

- Lead client’s communications strategy and execution for Canada, managing corporate, product, and exec comms as well as rapid response.
- Build and maintain relationships with key Canadian media, conference organizers, and other external industry stakeholders.
- Partner with U.S. PR colleagues to adapt and amplify major business and technology milestones for the Canadian market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Legal, Marketing, Policy, Product, Public Affairs, and Safety, among others) to support local market initiatives.
- Draft high-impact executive communications, including localized talking points, FAQs, and presentations.
- Flexible to travel to events, conferences and important meetings

You have:

- 10+ years of experience in communications/public relations (in-house or agency), with technology companies.
- A proven track record of media relations, established relationships with Canadian-based media,



and the ability to skillfully interface with journalists across proactive and reactive storytelling efforts.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills and a sharp eye for detail and tone. Professional fluency in French is a strong plus but not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex projects independently while maintaining a high bar for excellence.
- A strategic and resourceful mindset, adept at balancing high-level planning and tactical execution.

We prefer:

- Experience in the technology, transportation, automotive, or autonomous vehicle industries.
- A successful track record of launching new products with a sophisticated communications playbook.
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- An established network of relevant media contacts, including recent media, and fluency in the current media/social landscape.

Location: 100% remote but must live in Toronto Canada Duration: 1 year to start plus extension and contract to hire potential

Compensation: $55-65hr CAD
