About the Opportunity

Laser Valley Technologies is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to join our team as a Purchasing & Inventory Management Coordinator.

In this role, you will help keep our purchasing and inventory operations running smoothly while supporting our sales team and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will be responsible for ordering products, monitoring inventory, sourcing alternate suppliers, and keeping our product database and pricing information accurate and up to date.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, working with numbers, and making sure the right products are available when they are needed.

We value initiative, accuracy, and valuable communication. Previous purchasing or inventory experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchasing & Ordering: Coordinate product orders and ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and help maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Supplier Sourcing: Research and identify alternate suppliers to improve product availability and support competitive pricing.
- Database & Pricing Management: Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and supplier details within our database.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to help ensure products, pricing, and availability information are accurate and accessible.
- Purchase Order Management: Use our purchase order (PO#) system to track and organize purchasing transactions.
- Communication & Coordination:



Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal team members to resolve issues, coordinate orders, and keep operations moving.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in doing things right, follows through on commitments, and can manage multiple tasks without losing sight of the details.

You will bring

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Confidence working with databases, product information, and pricing.
- A practical, problem-solving approach to purchasing and inventory challenges.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and work effectively with others.
- Purchasing, inventory management, or supplier coordination experience is an asset, but not essential for the right candidate.
