Our client, an established Logistics company, is seeking a QA Automation Specialist to join their team.

Reporting to the QA Lead, this role plays a key part in strengthening their Cypress Automation Framework. You will collaborate closely with Developers, Tech Leads, and Project Managers to make their automation practice more robust.

THis is a fully remote role with some travel needed to Montreal on occasion.

What You'll Do

- Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define test plans and identify automation opportunities
- Be the go-to person for automation on the team
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and integration testing
- Help with Mobile automation using Jest
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality assurance
- Execute automated and manual tests as needed, analyzing results and reporting defects
- Enhance testing frameworks for scalability, reliability, and maintainability




- Contribute to regression and performance testing by expanding automated coverage
- Stay up to date on emerging tools and best practices in test automation
- Document testing processes, frameworks, and test results to ensure transparency and reproducibility

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience focused on test automation
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest) - a MUST. Must have owned and optimised a Cypress framework
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD tools and release management
- Strong understanding of API testing and service validation (e.g., Postman, REST API tools)
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
- Proficiency in French a robust asset
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field is considered an asset
