Quick Responder Team (QRT) Security Guard - Casual Securitas is a global leader in the security industry and has been providing security services since 1899. In office Guarding, Mobile Patrol Guarding, Leading Technology Solutions, Remote Guarding, and Investigations. We are seeking casual QRT/Security Guard for the CALGARY area.

Flexible availability is required, with the ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. however, there is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a full-time position in the near future.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply. Respond to calls on short notice to cover open shifts as operationally required. Observe and report all activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of property, assets, and personnel.

Conduct regular patrols to identify irregularities and inspect security systems, protective devices, and fire safety equipment.



Maintain order and enforce site regulations, directives, and procedures related to personnel, visitors, and premises. Control access to client sites and facilities by following established access control procedures.

Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or in a vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security breaches, blocked exits, mechanical issues, and unauthorized individuals. Provide excellent customer service while ensuring the protection of client property, assets, and personnel. Monitor intrusion detection systems using alarm monitoring and video surveillance software.

Utilize computer systems and software to monitor sites, complete reports and documentation, and participate in required training programs. Protect evidence and secure incident scenes during accidents, emergencies, and security-related investigations. Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company policies and site procedures.

Valid Security Guard

License. Available for short notice shifts and 24/7 scheduling. Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office. Virtual training On the job training Continuous learning opportunities
