Prime Data Centers is looking for a meticulous, high-energy Regional Procurement Manager to own the end-to-end execution of project-level purchasing. This isn’t just a “buying” role; it is a project management powerhouse. You will be responsible for taking a project from its initial budget phase through the RFP process, vendor selection, and the critical “last mile” of delivery, startup, and commissioning.
You are the bridge between our Global Strategy team and the boots-on-the-ground Construction teams, ensuring that every PO is accurate, every submittal is approved, and every delivery date is tracked to the day.
Budget Lifecycle Management: Partner with Construction, Accounting and Finance to create and manage project procurement budgets and cashflows. Track actual spend against estimates to ensure zero “surprises” in project CAPEX. Oversee the issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure they align with Master Purchase Agreements (MPAs) and project-specific terms.
Technical Submittal Management: Act as the “traffic controller” for technical submittals.
Supply Chain Risk Reporting: Maintain real-time dashboards on vendor performance and lead-time volatility. Proactively flag risks to the construction schedule before they become critical path issues.
Logistics & Delivery Tracking: You will know exactly where a transformer or chiller is from the factory floor to the job site gate. If a vendor is silent or a submittal is stuck in review,
you are on the phone making sure it moves. Managing 50+ line items across multiple job sites simultaneously is where you thrive.
Technical Translator: You can provide a high-level executive summary for a VP in the morning and dive into the “weeds” with a site superintendent in the afternoon. 5–8 years in Procurement, Project Management, or Supply Chain within the Data Center, Industrial Construction, or Oil & Gas Strong understanding of requisiton process and GL coding, AIA documentation, and the mechanical/electrical components inherent to data centers.
Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Procore, Netsuite, or similar project management/ERP software. You must be comfortable “managing up” and holding vendors accountable to strict deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
Market-competitive salary rangeand performance bonus program 100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability All applicants are considered for employment without attention to race, color, age, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, protected veteran or military status, disability status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local laws and ordinances. #
