To participate as a member of the Health Care Team and the Nursing Team. To maintain nursing records. Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (in good standing)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation is required Post graduate certificate in Oncology and/or Palliative Nursing an asset
- Post graduate certificate in Nephrology or certification and/or Medical-Surgical certification also considered
- Therapy preferred, or a commitment to obtain these certifications within one year
- Recent experience in oncology/palliative/nephrology nursing preferred
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with ability to foster valuable public relations in a family centered care environment
- Radiation oncology experiences an asset
- Membership in RNAO and CANO is an asset
