As Director of Finance, you will oversee financial operations, reporting, and controls for Newton’s crypto trading business.

The role covers close management, payroll, reconciliations, tax processes, and accounting guidance. You will support organizational growth through stronger policies, documented processes, and quality financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

Own monthly and annual close processes Oversee payroll, payables, receivables, and reconciliations Implement policies, procedures, and internal controls Ensure compliance with IFRS reporting standards Coordinate tax compliance, filings, and advisor discussions Requirements:

CPA designation with working IFRS knowledge At least 10 years of accounting experience Two busy external audit seasons at national or global firms Knowledge of CIRO Form 1 reporting Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency Bring CPA leadership, IFRS expertise, and disciplined financial controls to Newton’s Canada-wide remote finance team.
