This isn't your typical behind-the-desk management position! Our General Manager is a hands-on leader who gets to enjoy the best part of hospitality — being on the floor, interacting with guests, serving tables, and bartending.

What You'll Be Doing

- Hands-On Floor Management: Actively participate in daily service by serving tables, bartending, assisting staff, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.
- Team Leadership: Oversee, motivate, train, and support all front-of-house and back-of-house staff while maintaining a positive, professional work environment.
- Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, efficiency, and consistency.
- Guest Experience: Build relationships with our dedicated regulars, welcome new guests, resolve concerns, and create experiences that keep people coming back.
- Financial Management: Oversee payroll, daily cash reconciliation, deposits, inventory, cost controls, and operational reporting.
- Purchasing & Inventory: Manage ordering, supplier relationships, inventory levels, and product costs.
- Menu Development:



Collaborate with the kitchen team and ownership on menu improvements, seasonal features, and exciting recent ideas.
- Social Media & Marketing: Develop and execute creative marketing plans to increase brand awareness, attract new guests, and drive sales. Oversee social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, staying current with trends, engaging with followers, and promoting menu features, live entertainment, and special events.
- Promotions & Business Growth: Plan and implement seasonal promotions, community initiatives, and marketing campaigns. Monitor results and identify opportunities to grow sales and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Entertainment & Events: Help coordinate live music, special events, and activities that contribute to Kingsmen's lively atmosphere.
- Staff Development: Manage hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and accountability.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure food safety, liquor regulations, workplace safety, and company policies are consistently followed.

Who We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant or pub management experience, preferably in a General Manager or senior management role.
- Strong serving and/or bartending experience, with the ability and enthusiasm to work regular floor shifts.
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, payroll, inventory, ordering, and daily reconciliation.
- Experience developing marketing strategies, managing business social media accounts, and creating engaging promotional content.
- An understanding of current social media trends and how to use them to increase local reach and customer engagement.
- A confident, approachable leader who knows how to balance accountability with a positive team culture.




- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with guests and building relationships.
- A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the business.
- Comfortable working in a busy, entertainment-driven pub environment, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A hands-on manager who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
