Job Summary barBURRITO is looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead the team at our corporate Barrie location.

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including team leadership, guest experience, food safety, scheduling, inventory, cost controls, training, and operational performance.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organized, guest-focused, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced QSR environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant team
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure the store runs efficiently
- Deliver and reinforce exceptional guest service standards
- Train and mentor team members on operational procedures, food safety, and brand standards
- Support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees
- Prepare and manage weekly employee schedules
- Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, labour, and other key cost controls
- Ensure all operational, food safety, and brand standards are consistently maintained
- Prepare the restaurant for and successfully complete internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Train team members on new products, promotions, and operational rollouts




- Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment
- Support local store marketing, sales growth, and overall restaurant performance
- Work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a QSR or restaurant environment. But willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong leadership and team-development skills
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, ordering, labour management, and cost controls
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced setting
- Food safety knowledge and certification considered an asset
- Must be available to work full-time and maintain a flexible schedule
