The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer on a 6-month, remote-first contract. This is a product-facing seat, not a reporting desk. You’ll take a business problem from first question to measured result: frame the hypotheses, decide which data you need, build the models and pipelines to test them, and follow up on what happened. The right person is analytical, comfortable owning a problem, and equally at ease with product partners and the data underneath.

What You Will Do

- Spot business problems worth solving and turn them into clear hypotheses, instead of waiting for a request to land.
- Decide which tables and models a question needs, then build trusted, well-documented data models in SQL and dbt that other teams rely on.
- Build and maintain the pipelines behind those models in Python and Airflow, and stay accountable for data quality once they’re live.
- Work directly with Product, Engineering,



and Data Science partners to define metrics and shape what gets built.
- Track results after launch, share what the data shows, and iterate on what you learn.

What You Bring

- Product analytics or experimentation experience, including designing or analyzing A/B tests and working with funnel, retention, or cohort data.
- Solid SQL and hands-on dbt experience, with models you built and still own in production.
- Production-grade Python, plus orchestration experience with a tool such as Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience on a modern cloud warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- A record of owning metric definitions and partnering across teams, with examples where your analysis changed a decision.
