Lead meaningful recreation programming at Kensington Place Retirement Residence in North York, using fitness, communication, and leisure planning skills. Work 9-5, every other weekend, with some evenings required.

As a Recreation Aide with Sienna Senior Living, you will support purposeful activities for residents who call Aspira home. The position promotes lifestyle wellness through events, outings, group programming, and fitness offerings. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming setting while contributing to residents’ daily happiness, comfort, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support special events, outings, and group leisure programming
- Lead fitness programs and maintain leisure activity schedules
- Track participation and engagement data following organizational guidelines
- Update calendars, posters, events,



and leisure bulletin boards
- Maintain organized, tour-ready leisure areas and equipment

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in recreation, gerontology, kinesiology, or related health field
- Experience working with seniors and understanding leisure principles
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting and leading fitness programs
